About the Author
My name is Derek, aka Zuggy, I am the lead developer and administrator here at Dominate WoW Gold. I'm a full time college student and I've been playing World of Warcraft since the open beta was released in September of 2004.
During my WoW career I've played virtually every aspect of this game. From the highest levels of PvP and arena, reaching as high as #1 global ranking for my 2v2 team, to participating as part of numerous top tier bleeding edge guilds. Nowadays I find myself to be more casual when it comes to arena or raiding, opting instead for leveling my alts and casual 5 / 10 man dungeons.
My Characters
In addition to my two primary characters I play a number of other alternate characters. If you happen to see someone with a "Zug" or "Slug" name, it just might be me!
About the Guide
The story of DominateWoWGold.com begins with my blog, ZugGaming. Launched in 2006 ZugGaming was initially purely a vehicle to rant about PvP and arena. However, my blog quickly evolved into a fully fledged World of Warcraft strategy guide emporium. ZugGaming features guides and strategies on everything from dungeon boss tactics, gold farming, professions, reputation, 
PvP and everything in between. Six months after launching ZugGaming I began to contemplate my next major project. I wanted it to be something big, something impactful on the WoW community, and something that could help huge sums of players enjoy the game more.
It was at this time that Zuggy's Gold Mastery Guide was born. As a new player I had struggled immensely to make enough gold. I often had to borrow gold from other players just to maintain a sufficient fund for repairs and consumables. So I set out on my quest to learn everything there was to know about making tons of gold. I talked to scores of top gold masters from numerous servers, spied on Chinese gold farmers to see where they went and what they did, I even worked as a Chinese gold farmer for around a year. I knew there was a better way to farm though, better than simply killing mobs, so I set out to develop my own gold farming system.
My system had to be simple, fast, and effective at any level on any server. So for me the auction house was the only option. I tested scores of tactics, buying and selling methods, addons and items. Always using the basic economic principles of supply and demand. After serveral months of rigorous testing I was ready to launch my 1.0 version. The reception was better than I could have imagined, the positive feedback pourned in and I knew I was onto something.
After that the rest is pretty much history. Dominate WoW Gold is now a leading source for World of Warcraft gold guide information. We've taught thousands of students of insider tactics, allowing them to dominate their server's economies like never before and bring in insane sums of gold. And we've done so without violation of any Blizzard Terms of Service (TOS) of End-User License Agreement (EULA).
In 2006 I set out with one goal in mind, help other gamers. When I first started playing WoW it was a variable endless uphill climb to even learn the basics of what was going on. I knew I could help other players enjoy the game more by teaching what I've learned and for 4 years now that's been our primary goal.
