Clickbank keeps tracks each time you generate a sale, and every 2 weeks they will pay you your earnings (either by check or direct deposit). You will have your own private admin dashboard where you can log in and see the number of people you've sent to the salespage and how many sales you've made.
All of this is managed through a simple cookie-system. A cookie is a small web file that stores basic personal information. In this case, it's storing your affiliate ID. Which means that even if a customer you sent to the sales page doesn't buy the first time, no worries! The cookie will be active for 60 days, so if they purchase at any point during that time you'll still get credit for a sale.
All you have to do is send traffic to the sales page and start watching the cash pour in.

Blogging
Creating a blog is a great way to generate traffic about a particular topic. Better yet, it's completely free to create a blog. There is no shortage of free blog sites, but my favorite 2 are by far wordpress and blogger.
Below we've included a few basic blog posts for you. You're more than welcome copy and paste them as is, but to really ensure you are reaching your readers at a true level it's a good idea to use these more as outlines and modify them to your individual writing style. This way they will come off as more genuine and helpful to your readers.

Reviews
Reviews are a great way to generate sales. As with any product a third-party recommendation lends credibility to the product and will increase the chances of making that sales. It's important that you offer a genuine and honest review of the product.
List several positive aspects of the guide, but also list a few negatives or things that you think could have been done better. Downplay the negatives, because you don't want to scare someone off, but it helps to present the product in a more rounded and realistic light. Reviews are perfect for blog posts (discussed above) or really anywhere that you could post an article online.

Forums
Forums and other discussion sites are perhaps the most effective way to generate sales. They tend to convert quite a bit higher because you are connecting with people on a much more individual level. Telling your friends or other member's of your community about a great new guide is always better than them simply finding it via an advertisement.
Above all the most important factor in your success with forums will be simply being a helpful contributor. If you just say something pointless and then post a link you will likely get banned from the forum. Make sure you don't put your link in every thread you post in. Be helpful, be courteous, and you'll find easy opportunities to promote your affiliate link.
An easy non-threatening way of putting your link out there is to simply drop it in your forum signature. Ex. "Here's the gold guide I used to hit the gold cap in around a month, Dominate WoW Gold, check it out!"
