The nerubian mobs stop spawning after you complete a certain quest chain =(. The game phases and the mobs are all dead.

thanks for pointing that out, I didn’t quest much (…really at all) in Icecrown so I wasn’t aware these don’t spawn after you’ve completed that quest chain. Do you happen to know the name of the quest chain?
